Four rooms, four ways of working

A 350 m² room and a 90 m² room do not serve the same meeting. The first holds a conference, the second holds a committee. Pick the wrong one and you lose the room before you have started.

• The great hall at Domaine de Bronromme, 350 m². Wide bay windows open onto the gravelled inner courtyard and its half-timbered buildings, an open fire takes the far end. This is the format for conferences, assemblies and company evenings.
• The media corner at Domaine de Bronromme, 110 m². A bright conference room facing open country, extended by a 60 m² bar area where breaks happen without going back downstairs.
• The Bergerie at Domaine de Bronromme, 100 m². Bare brick, beams under the roof, a fireplace, its own kitchen and terrace. A self-contained space, set apart from the rest of the estate.
• The room at Château de la Louveterie, 90 m². Up to 60 people in seminar layout, fully reconfigurable, inside a house privatised whole.

We host groups from 10 to more than 200. The question is never whether the room exists, it is which one serves your format.

What “equipped” means here

The word covers everything, and often hides a tired projector at the back of a cupboard. Here is what you will find in the rooms at Domaine de Bronromme and Château de la Louveterie.

Every working space has its own audiovisual kit: screen, sound, flip chart, internet across the whole estate. The rooms are modular, which is not an empty word here. The layout is settled with you before you arrive, in a U for a committee, theatre style for a presentation, in islands for a workshop. You walk into a room already set up, at the right temperature, screen on.

The Bergerie at Domaine de Bronromme adds a fitted kitchen and a terrace, which makes it the only one of our spaces that is genuinely self-contained. A group can spend the whole day there without depending on the rest of the estate.

What is not part of the standard kit: conference sound, video recording and simultaneous interpreting. We arrange those with partners from the region, and they then appear as separate lines on the quote.

€850 a day for the Bergerie, and the per-person maths

Room-only hire is billed per day, excluding VAT, whatever the headcount. That is what makes the per-person calculation interesting past a certain size.

The Bergerie at Domaine de Bronromme opens the range, from €850 excluding VAT per day. At 25 people that comes to €34 each for a private 100 m² space with its own kitchen and terrace. At 35, it drops below €25.

The larger rooms follow the same logic: the rate is fixed, each share falls as the group grows. The 350 m² great hall works out under €25 a head once you pass a hundred people.

On top of that sits whatever you decide to put on the table. Welcome coffee runs around €10 per person, lunch between €20 and €25, an afternoon break around €10. A full day meeting, room and table together, therefore starts at roughly €70 excluding VAT per person on a basis of 30.

These figures remain markers. Everything here is configurable, which means the quote follows your day rather than the other way round. It starts from your dates, your headcount and your menus.

Why hold your meeting in the Ardennes rather than in town

A seminar room in town can be hired anywhere, often for less. The question deserves an honest answer: what changes by coming out to Theux?

First, the room is yours for the whole day, not for a slot. No meeting before yours, none after, nobody clearing up while you are still finishing. A business hotel sells time slots; at Domaine de Bronromme you open the door in the morning and close it in the evening.

Second, the meadows and woods of the estate begin a few metres from the bay windows. Stepping out for twenty minutes between sessions takes neither transport nor planning, and that is what makes a team-building activity possible on the same day.

Domaine de Bronromme stands on rue Bronromme in Theux, a few kilometres from Spa and close to Liège. Château de la Louveterie sits in the same radius. From Brussels, both are reached by car without changing road.

Three questions about hiring a room

Is the room private?

Yes, for the whole day. No other meeting is scheduled before or after yours, at either estate.

Do we need to bring equipment?

No. Screen, sound, flip chart and internet are in the room. The layout, in a U, theatre style or in islands, is settled with you before you arrive. Conference sound, video recording and simultaneous interpreting are ordered separately.

Which room for which headcount?

The room at Château de la Louveterie, 90 m², takes up to 60 people in seminar layout. At Domaine de Bronromme, the 100 m² Bergerie serves small groups, the 110 m² media corner serves meetings and conferences, and the 350 m² great hall serves assemblies and evenings.
