Gaëlle shared that weekend in a vlog on her YouTube channel, titled « À L’AMOUR. ». Nearly forty minutes following the preparations, the ceremony and the party, in which Domaine de Bronromme appears exactly as it is: a peaceful setting, surrounded by nature, built for the moments that count. In the video, Gaëlle describes a place where “there is not a sound”, in the middle of the forest, looking down over the valley. The kind of place you remember for a long time.

Domaine de Bronromme: an old Ardennes farmhouse turned exceptional venue

For those who do not know Bronromme yet, a few words are in order.

The Domaine de Bronromme is an old Ardennes farmhouse, meticulously renovated, set in the greenery of the municipality of Theux, a few kilometres from Spa. A place where the charm of old stone meets contemporary comfort. Where every space was designed to welcome, to bring people together and to offer that break from ordinary time we look for on the occasions that matter.

The estate is first of all a natural setting of rare beauty. Hectares of greenery, a view down over the Ardennes valley, the deep quiet of the countryside. Here you hear the birds, you smell freshly cut grass, you watch the light change as the day goes on. It is a place that lives with the seasons, and that is precisely what makes it singular.

One venue, a thousand configurations

What makes Bronromme so valuable for an event is the variety of its spaces. Every corner of the estate can be used, transformed, adapted to the occasion. You do not rent a room: you take over a whole place, with everything it offers.

For Gaëlle and Daan’s wedding, each space found its role in the flow of the weekend.

The lodge welcomed close family and friends from the Friday. With its 18 bedrooms sleeping up to 38 people, it let everyone gather the day before the big day. The evenings ran on between the dining room and the large lounge, in an intimate and warm atmosphere. One detail that changes everything: being able to house everyone under the same roof, and starting to celebrate before the day itself.

The grounds framed the ceremony. And a detail the superstitious will appreciate: it rained all week before the wedding. All week. But on the Saturday, the day of the ceremony, the sky cleared. Natural light, century-old trees, the calm of the Ardennes as a backdrop. No need for heavy decoration when the setting already offers all that.

The inner courtyard, framed by the estate’s stone buildings, became the aperitif space. Open to the sky, sheltered and convivial.

The main hall, 350 m² with direct access to the terrace and the garden, brought all the guests together for the meal. A generous, open space, made for long tables and long dinners.

The media corner and bar took over in the evening. The music, the laughter, the dancing. The moment you leave the table to carry the party on, in a space built for it.

Why this place naturally attracts exceptional events

We see it at every event we run at Domaine de Bronromme. Whether it is a company seminar, a film shoot, a family gathering or a wedding: the venue does far more than provide a backdrop. It carries the event.

It comes from several things at once. Authenticity first: Bronromme is not a reception venue in the usual sense. It is a living estate, with a history and an architecture that say something. Stone, wood, natural light. Nothing is artificial.
